The other day while in Philly, the band had the opportunity to record at WXPN. It is a local radio station located inside of the World Cafe. It was a great time...The band had good vibes, and will be aired in a couple weeks...

Park West In Chicago...

Tonight we are in Chicago...What a wonderful windy experience. We will be playing at Park West. So far, so well. It's a beautiful venue inside...The energy level is set high, and the bars have been raised. Overall we are too exited!

Hey everybody...I'm very sorry for the delay in posts lately...As one could probably guess, I have been swamped with work.

The Birchmere

Last night was our first show of the tour.  As always, what a success.  The crowd was screaming and jumping with joy when the band took the stage.  The band came out roaring like a lion, with ferocious amounts of energy; radiating positive vibes throughout the D.C. area.  I can almost picture Obama hearing it through his White House doors.  After the show we loaded all the gear up into the two tour busses, hung around until 2 or so and proceeded to drive through the night.  As i woke up in my cozy little bunk to the sound of grandpa's harmonious voice, we were just pulling into our first truck stop.  Man, I haven't been to one of those in a while.  I figured I better get used to it, being that it would be a daily ritual for us.

At the moment we are hiking up to Boston for a day off before our show at the Orpheum theatre tomorrow evening.

Last Day of Rehearsals Before the Big day at the Birchmere!

Today is our last day of rehearsals before our first big show at the Birchmere tomorrow!

When we all got to our practice facility, a crew of cameras was happily waiting to tape a bit of the rehearsal.  The interview crew was from the Voice of America, a local television show in the D.C. area.  A few of the musicians had interviews and such; as well as a few tapings of their performances for the day.

Tomorrow morning is an early wake-up call for everyone, as there will be a press day for Fox to officially kick-off our tour.  Here are some new videos from our last day of practice. I hope you are all enjoying the blog so far.

Also, a little reminder: Please DO NOT forget to purchase your tickets as early as possible because the shows are filling up fast!  So don't be that one person sitting at home by yourself on the night of the show.  Grab a friend and enjoy some great music as the Playing For Change Band radiates their positive vibes and an immense amount of energy on stage!!!
